Ability to place Carousel's on any page

Users would like the ability to place carousels on any page within their sites

Proposal

This has been cancelled because from a design point of view it is not sensible to have carousels throughout the site, particularly within the sub pages of sections. We will be launching a new release soon which will allow users to create landing pages for each of their section in the site, and within these pages will be the ability to add a carousel.

I'm sorry I don't really understand this.

What is the best way for me to add a series of pictures from events to this page: https://www.ndcn.ox.ac.uk/research/oculab/projects/art-and-neuroscience-project? Would you recommend for example that I simply put them on Flickr and link to them, if it's never going to be possible to insert a carousel on this page?

Also, would it ever be possible to put a carousel on a Research Group page?

Finally, I wasn't aware that this proposal had been cancelled - did I miss an email about this?
