Publish and Expiration dates for content items

The ability to specify dates for content items (such as news, events and job ads) to be automatically published and removed from the site, rather than simply being hidden from search results, but still accessible with the correct URL.
Proposal
This feature has been cancelled as the solution is damaging to your google rankings. If content is hidden once the event has expired Google will try to check the URL for a content form, and it will appear as though there is a broken URL. The other option is to remove the content with a notice displaying that the content has expired, this is equally as bad for the rankings.
